Course Objectives

The purpose of the Expedition Medicine conference will be to educate medical professionals regarding principles of working in foreign countries, extreme environments, and remote locations. Experts have been selected to cover the course material. The experts selected not only have impeccable academic credentials, but also vast experience in their chosen fields.

The target audience is the medical professional who ventures into remote locations and/or the medical professional advising patients who plan to go to, or have just visited, a remote destination. Physicians are the primary target but paramedics, nurses, and midlevel providers will also be in attendance.
